It was great to see so many familiar faces at Climate Week NYC!
Cyle Zezo (Reality of Change) spoke on a panel produced by Save the Humans on the topic of comedy and climate storytelling. The panel was moderated by comedian Esteban Gast (a 2023 Grist50 honoree), and featured Isaias Hernandez (Queer Brown Vegan), Rollie Williams (Climate Town), Katy Jacobs (NRDC), Brooke Betts (Rare), and Kay Campbell (Generation 180).
A fun time was had by all, and some behind the scenes interviews with the panelists should soon follow, which will be posted here once released.
The event also included musical performances and a stand up showcase (Stand Up for Humans), proving once again that climate change can be successfully communicated through entertainment.
