ROC Resource: General sustainability declaration for a production. Edit and adapt to your show. Share with the entire crew within their onboarding materials at the beginning of a production.
ROC Resource: More tailored production sustainability advice that may not be relevant for the whole crew. Edit and adapt for your show. At the start of a production, share with crew department heads so they can use their expertise to think and act more sustainably.
Third-Party Resource: The Sustainable Entertainment Alliance maintains a production vendor database that can be organized by region and type of service, including things like software, recycling and compost, sound, vehicles, electric, and many more. Share with EIC, Line Producer, department heads.
Third-Party Resource: Green Production Guide library of memos, flyers and signage that you can print and use on set.
Third-Party Resource: Straightforward guide from the Better Food Foundation on how to lower the emissions of a production (or any catered event). Share with vendors, caterers, or anybody making decisions about food early in the process.
Third-Party Resource: The Green Production Guide includes a suite of tools created by studios and industry professionals, including PEAR carbon calculator, PLUM plywood tracking, and PEACH best practices checklist. A version of PEACH tailored to unscripted is currently in development.
