NY Climate Week 2024: ROC to join Rare and Yellow Dot on panel hosted by S.E.A. and Futerra

Reality of Change founder Cyle Zezo will join Staci Roberts-Steele of Yellow Dot Studios, as well as Ellis Watamanuk and Dr. Anirudh Tiwathia of global environmental non-profit (and unscripted climate task force partner) Rare on stage at New York Climate Week 2024.

The panel is entitled “Does Sustainability Storytelling Inspire Change? " and is described by the event organizers as follows:

Remember the documentary that inspired your uncle to buy an EV? Or the scene in that political thriller that convinced your sister to vote? Entertainment is often recognized for its ability to change hearts and minds – but is there solid evidence to back these anecdotal claims? In this session, social scientists and storytellers will synthesize some of the latest research on this topic. They’ll cover major takeaways and play specific scenes that were particularly engaging with audiences. Tune in and hear what the data has to say.

This panel is part of a lineup of programming hosted by the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance and Futerra’s Solutions House on Tuesday, September 24th, and attendance will be available both in-person and online.

You can claim free tickets to join in-person, or register to view the event online.
