Join Reality of Change at a range of events and conferences this Spring as we explore the many ways into sustainability through unscripted TV, from production practices, to the food we put on-screen, and beyond.
LA Climate Week (April 7 @ 4pm) - Los Angeles
Plant Based Treaty and the City of West Hollywood present Crisis: Can Hollywood Save the Planet?, a panel featuring Lindsay Hicks, Amy Jean Davis, Shaka Smith, Jason Wrobel and Reality of Change’s Cyle Zezo to discuss the cultural impact Hollywood could have on climate change and food systems. A part of LA Climate Week’s Food Day, it will be followed by a mixer where guests can sample gourmet hors d’oeuvres and a plant-based cheese board paired with marvelous mocktails.
NAB Show (April 8 @ 11:45am) - Las Vegas
Next up at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, the Unscripted Meets Sustainability panel, organized by the IATSE Local 600 Sustainability Committee, will dive into how unscripted professionals are engaging with peers to develop practical operational guidelines and pioneering ways to meet sustainability goals on-screen and behind the scenes.
Unscripted and Live Productions face unique hurdles in meeting the sustainable production goals that engaged audiences increasingly demand. Michael Chambliss (the Assistant Western Region Director, and advanced production technology specialist for the International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 600) will moderate a panel with showrunner Tracey Baird (OMG Fashun), multi-Emmy winning lighting extraordinaire Oscar Dominguez, and Cyle Zezo to dive into strategies on set, and the pledge and roadmap announced in February 2025 by Reality of Change and Rare.

Hollywood Climate Summit (June 2 to 4) - Los Angeles
Tickets are now available for the 2025 Hollywood Climate Summit, which will feature main stage programming on June 2 and 3, and wrap up with workshops and a closing night party on June 4. Reality of Change will be making an exciting announcement timed to Hollywood Climate Summit.
